Artistic Expression
You've probably seen this scene played out hundreds of times in dramatic movies and television shows. A petulant teenager grumbles at their parent about how the parent never paid any attention to the teenager and didn't care about them. At that point, the parent leaves the room, scrounges around a closet, and comes back with a small little box or folder and proudly proclaims "I saved every single thing you ever made!". At that point, the parent and teenager break down in tears, embrace, and we head for commercial.
Well, I don't know what planet they are coming from where a parent can save everything, and it fits nicely into a small little box. SJ generates that volume of artwork in a week! If we saved everything she ever made, we'd be candidates for appearing on an episode of Hoarders on A&E within a few short months. So, SJ, please take this as a public notice that we love you, we support you, we care about you, but we just can't save all your lovely artwork and crafts. Maybe someday Google will figure out how to digitally archive all that stuff, but for now, we'll just have to utilize the recycle bin.

Sydney, This is Gami, do not accept this excuse. We saved all of your Daddy's stuff. Actually, some of it has come in handy for blackmail. :) We even still have the Santa he made out of construction paper and put it up each year. Even though it only has one arm now and started out with a full set of all appendages and full (albeit round)body. :) Which may be why it gets the "best spot" which is on the side facing the street. :) gami
