When it's time to change, you've got to rearrange...

We marked the beginning of the New Year by continuing the purge of our belongings, as well as retiring those things that we no longer use to the basement.

Included among these items was SJ's crib, as she graduated to a 'big girl's bed' some 8 months ago. Now, in our defense, we were in Germany for 6 of those - so we have a good excuse for not getting around to this sooner. But, it was time.

On a more bittersweet note, ever since SJ was a baby I would sing her a little song and carry her to her bed for her bedtime routine. For the past several nights, however, she has insisted on climbing into bed herself. I guess our little girl is growing up...
