Christmas Eve

S and J are counting down the minutes until Christmas. They are both so excited and they love wearing their Santa hats all around the town!

Cookies Galore!

One of my favorite things to do at Christmastime is to bake cookies. I have a great sugar cookie recipe from my Mom that I love making. This year my patience was really tested while trying to include 2 kids in the process of baking the cookies! There was flour everywhere when the cookies were done! The next day S and I decorated them. In the end the whole process was worth it because the cookies were so yummy, which makes my loss of patience and my aching, cramping shoulders not seem so bad :)

Christmas Season

'Tis the season to update the blog and move away from Thanksgiving pictures! It's been a busy month for our family so far, yet I'm realizing I don't have many pictures to show for it. I did take a picture of Sydney when she sang in our church's Childrens Christmas Choir last Sunday. They sang Do You Hear What I Hear? and Joy to the World! She did great and all the kids looked so nice in their Christmas outfits!
